I was looking around for something small to put on one of the 6" x 8" panels, thinking I would then have time to spend at the "Paint-the-Town" plein air festival going on this weekend, poke around downtown. Hmmmm, maybe not my best choice. It turned out to be a lot harder than I thought. But well, it kind of looks like glass.

I've been thinking about what it is that I myself like in a painting, and beyond admiring excellent craftsmanship, I think I like "moods" or something with drama, a play of light. So I tried here to do something with a little more drama than usual. I think it turned out well, for an imaginary landscape. All done with a palette knife, so lots of texture.
