Oh, I like this one, I couldn't tell you exactly why. Maybe it's the feeling of space, maybe it's the warm grasses in the field. Or just the overall sense of peace here in this big openness.

Since this one didn't sell at $25, I've revised it a bit, and lowered the price.
I deepened the color of the snow shadows, and added more light to the pines, filled them out a bit more, and added the twigs and grasses. Better I think.

We've got cold, raw, wet rain today (OK, I'm grateful it's not snow, but...), and I am thinking greens and colors. I'll still be doing still life, and snow scenes, but for today, I'm resting assured that we will have spring, summer and fall again. Greens and colors, and warmth.

Another visit to the Food Bank over the weekend. It's so nice that I can also get flowers there, pick a couple of packages, and then discard the dead flowers, make a new bouquet from the survivors. Along with my blue vase from our local hospital thrift shop.
