White Tulip 2011 - SOLD
White Tulip 2011
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12"
SOLD at $65.00 plus shipping.
As happens often, when I do a painting that doesn't turn out so well, I have to "get back on the horse" and paint a good one. Yesterday's magnolia that didn't turn out well, prompted this one, which did.
Curly Magnolia - NA
Curly Magnolia
Oil on Linen, 10" x 10"
Not Available, revised on 7/14/2011.
I'm not happy with this one. The linen made everything hard to blend, so it's pretty rough, by necessity. And it got darker than I like, but here it is anyway. I figured someone might like it. And I get to move on, maybe come back and try this flower stem again. (it's a new one from Michael's.)

Revised Creek
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 10" x 10"
SOLD at $40.00 plus $5.00 shipping.
There was a lot of interest in this one from a couple of weeks ago. I think that we all love water and trees. But there was a lot of yellowish reflection in the creek, and it was passed by. So today I declared it a revisions day, and this was one of them, and I dropped the price a bit.

Onions in the Spotlight - SOLD
Onions in the Spotlight
Oil on Stretched Linen, 10" x 10"
SOLD at $45.00 plus shipping.
I loved the long top on this onion, carefully preserving it on the way home form the grocery store, making sure that it was on the top of the pile of bags in the cart. And going without a nice slice of onion on my last night's hamburger. Such sacrifices we artists' make....
