Oranges in the Bag - SOLD

Oranges in the Bag Watercolor with red ink on Watercolor Paper 10" x 14" Sold at $40.00 plus shipping. Isn't this a fun one? My daughter bought a large bag of oranges, since the kids are orange happy right now, and they were sitting on the kitchen counter. Looking so round and bright. So I decided to quick do a watercolor before they got into them (as soon as I was done, of course.) This will be a sporadic week for paintings, since the kids (my daughter and sil) are gone to Italy, and I'm with the children. I don't anticipate much painting time, except perhaps for small watercolors that I can do in the kitchen during nap time. This was to be paperwhites, from bulbs I picked up at the grocery store, but I forgot that the purple ink was water soluble, and it bled, of course. So the paperwhites aren't paperwhites anymore. Cook's Canyon - SOLD

Cook's Canyon Acrylic on Canvas bord, 16" x 20" SOLD at $100 plus shipping. This is an image from Cook's Canyon in the snow, which isn't really a canyon, but it does have a few places to park, a little creek and a nice walking trail, and it's right here in Barre. Just a touch of color here and there. This one has a lot of white mixed in it. Very simple subject, just a field with some trees.
