Dappled Path - SOLD
Dappled Path
Oil on Canvas board, 12" x 16"
Sold at $65.00 plus shipping.
One of the fun things about being an artist is that you have an excuse to answer questions like "Wonder where that path goes?" This path leads to a small, secluded cemetery, and I found the path at the bend of a rest stop road. I loved the flash of color at the end, and the dappled sunlight coming through the shaded tress. Thanks for looking.

Morning Fog - SOLD
Morning Fog
Oil on Canvas board, 12" x 16 "
Sold at $85.00 plus shipping.
This one was just so much fun to paint, I don't know why. I think maybe because I kept it "thin" for the most part, so that there wasn't a lot of paint slopping around. I like it so much that I think I might go at it again tomorrow, see how I can change it and make if different. Thanks for looking.

Light in the Trees - NA
Light in the Trees
Oil on Canvas board, 12" x 12"
Not available.
It was very windy today, and a lot of leaves got blown down. The ground is orange and gold, covered with leaves. I decided to take a drive and shoot pictures, rather than do plein air paitning. But did work in the studio, and used one of my photos for this one. Fall light can be just so splendid. Thanks for looking.

Among the Maples - SOLD
Among the Maples
Oil on Canvas board, 12" x 16"
SOLD at $50.00 plus shipping.
I sat out in the maples this afternoon and tried to capture some of the magic, while chipmunks scittered about, and leaves fell on my head, in my paint, in my coffee. If you're a painter, then you'll be able to relate to the feeling: once you finish a painting, there's nothing you'd rather do than do the same one again, and better. Thanks for looking.

Rest Stop 122 - SOLD
Rest Stop 122
Oil on Canvas board, 12" x 16"
Sold at $50.00 plus shipping.
This was late this afternoon, and I loved the way the light was just catching a bit of the grass, and illuminating the gold orange of the tree behind the pine. I wish I had had more time, but within about a half hour, the flash was gone. This is "undoctored", just as I painted it plein air, pretty coarse and hurried. Thanks for looking.
