Pink Sprig Rhododendron - SOLD
Pink Sprig Rhododendron
6" x 8"
Oil on Canvas board
Sold at $45.00 plus shipping.
This is much better. The only thing blooming right now in my daughter's yard are bushes, so I cut a sprig and really like the leaves, with their edges of red and the way the light catches them. This one turned out so much better than yesterday's flowers that I am feeling hopeful once again. Thanks for looking.

In the Pink
In the Pink
6" x 8"
Oil on Canvas board

I wasn't going to post this one today, but decided that it's good to put up the "duds" as well as the successes. It's humbling but important, I think, to acknowledge that your skill level is where it is, and that some things are beyond your skill. It's why we stretch to grow. Thanks for looking.

Moss Pond Up the Hill - SOLD
Moss Pond Up the Hill
11" x 14"
Oil on Stretched Canvas
Sold at $50.00 plus shipping.
The backlighting in late afternoon yesterday was just wonderful. I sprayed the ground and myself for buggies and set up at the pond. This is looking back up the hill towards my daughter's home. Nice to work on a stretched canvas again, they have a nice bounce when you paint. Thanks for looking.

Forsythia in Bloom
Forsythia in Bloom
12" x 14"
Oil on Canvas mounted to board
Available at $45.00 plus shipping.
It was a sparkling day today, despite a chilly wind. Back to my new favorite old farm, and found a nice bunch of forsythia in bloom, and this enormous old pine tree. The abandoned house is one of those telescoping kind, part brick and part clapboard. Very cool. There is fresh spring green everywhere. Thanks for looking.
