Marsh Light

Fall Leftovers - SOLD

Fall Leftovers
Oil on Canvas Panel, 9" x 12"
SOLD.

This one started out as a fall (acrylic) demo in class, but we didn't complete it. So today, so as not to waste the canvas, I finished it in oils. I left little tiny bits of the underpainting showing through, a nice effect. Click to see it larger.

Pink, Green Hydrangea - SOLD

Pink, Green Hydrangea
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 12" x 12"

Since I had a lot of the greens left over from the Hydrangeas commission, I decided to do one for the blog.

Mountains and Shoreline - SOLD

Mountains and Shoreline
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 20"
SOLD.

I was way out of my comfort zone on this one, which was done as a follow-along painting with Johannes Vloothuis yesterday. The 6 hour class was through a video stream. His palette is different than mine, and I couldn't get the reference photos (later I used Firefox and was able to get them) he was using, so I really was limping along.(Besides not "knowing" mountains.) But I thought it might appeal to someone, so here we are.
